A hypertext exhibition created as hypertext art, virtualDissent_hyper.txt guides users through its exhibition of six hypertext artworks. The pages of the exhibition mimic gallery rooms, providing spatial transitions into piece. Together, the exhibition enters into the political conversations of identity, sexuality, love, race, gender, socioeconomic inequality, queerness, death, anonymity, and bodily autonomy. Pieces include:
Queers in Love at the End of the World | Anna Anthropy
Mouchette | Martine Neddam
Blue Hyacinth | Pauline Masurel and Jim Andrews
My Body | Shelly Jackson
Keeping Up Appearances | Mendi & Lewis Obadike
Howling Dogs | Porpentine.
